Walking tours in NYC

The first was all about 9/11. It started at the City Hall Fountain, and was run by Ellen.

The second was all about lower Manhattan, and started at the Charging Bull. This one was run by Renee, who I learned is from a town I know.

I would highly recommend these tours. They are pay-as-you-wish, but they are well worth twenty dollars per tour. Each tour is about two hours long. They stop for bathrooms, and they show you places to eat when the tour is over.

The 9/11 Tour

The Lower Manhattan Tour

  1. She said the upper parts of building in Manhattan were built to be smaller (such as the one that looks like a wedding cake) because of setback laws (allowing sunshine.)
  2. Battery Park Tunnel building is an air vent
